![]() As you may see in my pictures, I already came around a lot, especially in Europe and the United States. I like to travel and discover new places. I'm really interested in historical cultures. I love seeing historic places or monuments and stunning nature scenes.
I just love to travel. Only the idea boarding a plane again and traveling abroad is exciting. I did four huge road trips in the US and drove my vacation companions nuts while driving sometimes 1200 miles a day. And sometimes we just went to places with a Hard Rock Cafe to get a new t-shirt or drop a pin in a city of a state I haven't been yet :) I remember the first day on the Interstate in Nebraska where Candy (that's how I called my GPS because my friend Keith named his the same) told us "Turn in 506 miles" :) Long live the straight roads in the US with nothing to see around :) I took so much pictures on these road trips that I had to split a few of these albums in two parts because of the technical capacity of this website gallery. They're named USA Trip: SW for Southwest and SE for Southeast, which I did in 2008, NE for Northeast, which I did in 2009 and NW for Northwest, which I did in 2010. Maybe you'll laugh reading this, but I put up a big pinboard with a huge US map to drop pins on each place I've been there. I got the idea when I visited my friend Greg in Texas. I guess I had more pins to stick on this one as if I'd put up a European one :) I even wrote a book about Roadtrips in the US to share all my knowledge with you. By clicking on "My book" on your left side, you'll find more details about it. I've to keep up with Europe a lil' bit. I already have plans for a road trip up to the Scandinavian countries, back through Eastern Europe to Luxembourg. And I think I'm gonna do a road trip through Italy someday, cos I'm not really into flying to each of these places at once... Pictures can be found on your left side. And there are more pics to come :) Stay tuned! |
